Born and raised in California, Nicole moved to the PNW in 2021, a year later moving to the east side of Portland with her runner husband and rambunctious dog while her son finished college in CA.
Her husband’s love of running wore off on her back in 2016 when she started her own training, running & racing journey. For years, jokingly, she called herself a 5k specialist because that was the only distance race she would sign up for. 5k’s are still her favorite, but she is open to training for other distances now.
Her favorite hobbies are DIY house projects, baking, and hanging out with the ERE gang whenever possible. She felt so welcome from day one of being with ERE that now she can’t think of a better way to spend a Tuesday night, for a Pub Run or a Saturday morning, for a group run & coffee date. She loves the fact that ERE is a welcoming place for everyone: walkers, runners, cyclists, swimmers and more.
